3 Star Players who may not find any buyers in IPL 2024 due to bad performance in this season

Here are 3 Star Players who may not find any buyers in IPL 2024.

The Indian premier league 2023 has been a superhit season for batters in particular. However, there are still some marquee names who failed to make their presence in the biggest T20 league in the world. Here are 3 Star Players who may not find any buyers in IPL 2024.

There are some players who have shined brighter than ever in this season’s IPL while some have failed to live up to the expectation. Like always whenever a player has a bad season it is likely that he gets ignored by the franchises in the next season’s IPL auction.

In this season as well there were players who were carrying the heavy weight of expectation on their shoulders but they failed to deliver in the end. Today we will name 3 players who were a flop this season considering their importance in their teams.

3 Star Players who may not find any buyer in IPL 2024

1. Dinesh Karthik – 140 runs in 13 innings

After a dream run last year, Dinesh Karthik has performed miserably in the IPL 2023. The right-handed batter has scored only 140 runs with an average of 11.67 and has a strike rate of 134.62.

The IPL 2022 was his breakthrough season which resulted in him being the main man of RCB’s lower middle order. In the last season, DK amazed 330 runs with an incredible strike rate of 183.33 and turned many games into his own.

However, this season Dinesh failed to do so as he was with both bat and gloves as well. It is very likely that RCB will release him in the next season and his chances of getting any buyer are also less.

2. Jofra Archer – 2 wickets in 5 matches

The English speedster was MI’s most lethal weapon before the start of IPL 2023. Regardless of his injury-prone MI bought him for 9 crore hoping that he will be back at his absolute best.

Archer was going for 40 runs in each and every he played this season. He had an economy of 9.50 this season.

He didn’t look fully fit at all while he was bowling this season and after 5 games he was sent back to the UK.

Although Archer has a huge reputation for being one of the current best he is very unlikely to attract any buyers next season.

3. Ambati Rayudu – 122 runs in 10 innings

The right-handed batter of CSK has been completely off-color this season. While everyone in the CSK batting lineup was breathing fire Ambati failed to click in the middle.

He scored only 122 runs with an average of 15.25 and a strike rate of 127.08.

This is not the only season when Rayudu has failed to deliver his past 3 seasons have been all poor.
