3 Times when Stuart Binny’s wife Mayanti Langer shuts her husband’s Trolls

Indian cricketers and the continuous trolling they receive on social media is known to all. Sometimes people go on to make hilarious memes on the players, on a funny note. While the other times, people take a dig at the players by commenting on their recent performances. But sometimes, it has been seen that cricketers receive disgraceful messages on social media, on a personal level. The Virat-Anuskha case is the biggest example of it. Another such couple is Stuart Binny and Mayanti Langer.

On a number of occasions, Binny and Mayanti Langer have received contemptible comments on social media. Most of the time the reasons have been weird. Stuart Binny though never came up with a reply to any of these comments, his wife gave fitting replies to the haters a number of times. Below are three such instances when Mayanti Langer fired back with her words.

Mayanti Langer, who is a television anchor by profession posted a picture of herself from the studios back in 2020, on which the user commented “Where is Stuart Binny nowadays?”  Another Twitter user replying to it wrote, “He is helping her in carrying her baggage.” This apparently annoyed Mayanti and she went on to write, “I can carry my own baggage thank you very much. he’s busy living his life, playing cricket, just being awesome in general, and not passing comments on people he doesn’t know.”

After receiving endless trolls when her husband gave away 32 runs in a single over, Mayanti Langer went on to post a letter on Twitter. She wrote about how she was being affected by the violent messages and the trolls. She silently trolled the haters in a sarcastic way asking them to get a job rather than trolling random people on social media.

Many fans came in support of Mayanti after the incident.

Stuart Binny completing 100 List-A matches

On the occasion of Binny’s 100th List A match, the all-rounder posted a picture of himself on his Instagram handle. Mayanti posted a screenshot of the post on Twitter, captioning it “To the haters, but mainly to the supporters.” She also praised her husband by writing, “A 100 that has been 17 years in the making. HARDWORK and PERSEVERANCE are only words until you bring them to life. Some just TALK @stuartbinny84 WALKS THE TALK. Congrats on yet another achievement champ.”

Stuart Binny has played 6 Tests, 14 ODIs & 3 T20Is in which he has scored 194, 230 and 35 runs respectively. The all-rounder has picked up a wicket in T20Is, 20 in ODIs and 3 in tests. Though he is not in the frame of things for the national team, he still plays at the domestic level.
