The IPL 2022 is reportedly supposed to be different in terms of the number of teams that participate in the competition. The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to be a 10-team tournament. With the number of teams increasing, more players will be getting a chance to play in the biggest cricket tournament in the world. Not just the Indian players but more overseas players as well will be seen in the competition next year. Below are the 5 CPL Players who can make it to the IPL 2022.

ANDRE FLETCHER

The 33-year old Andre David Stephon Fletcher is an explosive opening batsman who plays for the Saint Lucia Kings in the CPL currently. The right-handed batsman is well known for his powerful hitting and is in red hot form for over a year. It’s pretty sure with the number of teams in the IPL increasing that ADS Fletcher would get a contract. He has also been in limelight due to some brilliant performances in the BBL some months ago.

In the CPL, Andre Fletcher has played 78 matches, scored 2081 runs with a strike rate of 118.30 including 11 fifties.

BRANDON KING

Brandon King is a Top Order batsman who plays for Guyana Amazon Warriors. The Jamaican has an effective strike rate of 132.01 in the 55 T20 matches he has played so far. He has scored 1101 runs including 5 fifties and a hundred. His highest individual score is 132 runs. He can be a reliable option in the top order for any team.

ROSTON CHASE

Roston Chase is yet another player from the Saint Lucia Kings. He bats in the middle order for the Kings and is an invaluable asset for his team due the services he provides with the bat and ball both. The all-rounder averages 34.78 with bat and bowls tight spells with the ball in hand, taking wickets in regular intervals. His economy of 5.77 in the CPL speaks for itself.

With the spin-friendly pitches in India, Roston Chase can be handy for any IPL team with his Right-Arm Off-Break.

CARLOS BRATHWAITE

Carlos Brathwaite has already been a part of the Indian Premier League and represented three different franchises- Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He went unsold in the 2021 IPL auction which was surprising, keeping in mind his hitting abilities. In the 16 IPL matches he has played so far, he has made 181 runs with a tremendous strike rate of 163.06. His bowling skills also come in handy with his batting abilities. He has also picked 13 wickets in the competition.

JAYDEN SEALES

Jayden Seales is a young 19-year old Right Arm Medium Fast bowler who plays for the Trinbago Knight Riders. In the 8 CPL matches he has played so far, he has picked up 9 wickets. He recently made his debut for the West Indies cricket team in June. Playing 4 tests, he has picked up 16 wickets for the West Indies. Jayden Seales is a promising young talent who can be a brilliant fast bowling option for any IPL franchise.
