After a thrashing in the first Test match against England, team India will be looking to turn the tables by winning the second Test and level the 4-match series. The team need to get the combination right if they want to overpower the English team. India Vs England 2021 2nd Test Team will definitely look different than the one played in the opening match.
The Indian bowlers looked ineffective in the first Test as the English batsmen kept on piling the runs with Joe Root’s double century being the highlight. The debutant Nadeem bowled the most number of no-balls.

It will be no surprise if the left-handed bowling all-rounder Axar Patel is picked in the second Test match. Patel was supposed to play the first Test; however, a knee problem forced the team management to exclude him from the playing XI. After an average performance by Nadeem, Patel is most likely to make his Test debut for the Indian team.
“Axar had a minor knee niggle and has already started batting at the nets. He is expected to start bowling during the next couple of days. He was always the first choice to play the opening Test but it will depend on skipper Virat Kohli, head coach Ravi Shastri and bowling coach Bharath Arun,” said a senior BCCI source to Times Now.

Kuldeep Yadav’s exclusion from the team has been a topic of debate recently. When Yadav made his debut for the team, he was touted as the next big thing after a string of brilliant performances. The chinaman bowler made his debut in 2017 against Australia and impressed everyone with his skills. It’s been over a year since the left-arm spinner starred in the playing XI. At the moment, it looks like India Vs England 2021 2nd Test Team might not include Yadav as well.
