BCCI has given conflict of interest notice to Rahul Dravid as he is the current director of National Cricket Academy (NCA) as well as vice-president of India Cements the company which owns Chennai Super Kings.
Following this Sourav Ganguly has slammed BCCI with a tweet. Sourav Ganguly had also faced the conflict of interest allegations for being CAB president as well as a mentor of the IPL team Delhi Capitals.
Sourav Ganguly wrote that BCCI is creating controversies. He tweeted, “New fashion in Indian cricket ….. conflict of interest… Best way to remain in news… god help Indian cricket…… Dravid Gets Conflict of Interest Notice from BCCI Ethics Officer,”
Harbhajan Singh also supported Ganguly and defending Rahul Dravid he wrote, “Really ?? Don’t know where it’s heading to.. u can’t get a better person than him for Indian cricket. Sending notice to these legends is like insulting them.. cricket needs their services for betterment.. yes god save Indian cricket.”
BCCI’s ethics officer Justice DK Jain has sent this notice to Dravid after receiving a complaint from Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association’s life member Sanjay Gupta. Dravid has given two weeks to reply on the allegations.

What Is Conflict Of Interest?
As per BCCI rules, an individual can’t associate with BCCI and IPL franchise at the same time. In this case, they may have to choose one between two posts. Before Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman also received these notices for their association with BCCI’s CAC panel and IPL franchises.
