Team India is locking horns with the Kiwis in the first Test match at Green Park, Kanpur. The match started on 25th November and the Indian team is on the driving seat, courtesy the Indian bowlers. Axar Patel took a 5-wicket haul and was pick of the bowlers. It was a remarkable moment for Patel, however Suryakumar Yadav ruined Axar Patel’s 5-wicket haul ball.
The Kiwi batsmen had a dream start as their openers notched up a 151-run partnership. The Indian bowlers looked ineffective on the second day; however, they made a statement on the third day by wrapping up the Kiwis batting, before they could take any lead. Axar Patel was the best of the lot as he picked 5 wickets, however Suryakumar Yadav ruined the 5-wicket haul ball ah he mistakenly wrote the wrong date on it.
Axar Patel was in his element as he broke the backbone of the Kiwi batting line-up by claiming the wickets of Tom Latham, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, Tom Blundell, and Tim Southee. The Kiwis were bundled up at the score of 296 and a lot of credit goes to Patel for Kiwis’ collapse. It was a moment to remember for Patel.

Wasim Jaffer shared the picture of the ball on his Twitter handle which was ruined by Suryakumar Yadav as he wrote October instead of November on the ball. Jaffer wrote, “The only mistake Axar Patel made today was putting wrong date on the match ball. 27h November hai bapu.” Axar Patel was quick to respond as he replied tweeting, “It wasn’t me… @surya_14kumar wrote this!

The ex-Indian cricketer then asked Axar Patel if he was going to punish Suryakumar Yadav for the mistake. He tweeted, “Ohh then what’s the punishment for @surya_14kumar ? Stand in front of The Wall?”
As for the match, team India is on top at the moment and will look to consolidate their position on the fourth day which could decide the fate of the game. Team India has scored 14 runs at the loss of one wicket in their second inning so far.
