Team Pakistan and Australia are engaged in the series deciding third ODI which is currently being played in Lahore. Prior to the ODI series, the teams battled in the 3-match Test series which Australia won by attaining a victory in the third match. The Pakistani bowlers were on fire in the third ODI and looked lethal from the word ‘Go’. To the fans’ amusement, Shaheen Afridi castles Travis head on the very first ball of the match.

Australia’s tour of Pakistan has been gripping to say the least. Both the teams have given their best to clinch the victories and the contests have been very close. Presently, the teams are challenging each other in the third ODI to clinch the ODI series. The Pakistan bowlers were at their demolishing best as they wrapped up the Australian batting line up at just 210 runs. The Pakistan skipper Babar Azam elected to bowl first after winning the toss and his bowlers did not disappoint him. Both the openers were sent packing for nought and Australia had already lost 3 crucial wickets by the time the batting powerplay ended. Shaheen Afridi castles Travis Head and opened the wickets account for his team, which was followed by Haris Rauf who dismissed Aaron Finch on a duck.

At the time of writing this article, the Australian team has been reduced to just 210 runs as they couldn’t even play their allotted 50 overs. The match is tilted in Pakistan’s favour at the time of innings break; however, it can go either way if the Australian bowlers comes up with some brilliant effort. The victory in the match would mean clinching the ODI series as well for either team. The Australian bowlers will not give up that easily and the fans are in for an exciting second inning.
