Pravin Tambe who never got a chance to play for his country is a well known name of IPL. Tambe had made his IPL debut at the age of 41 and set a record of becoming the oldest player to make IPL debut. Tambe made his ipl debut for Rajasthan Royals in 2013. Later he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions.
Recently a biopic was made on Pravin Tambe’s life and was released on 1 april 2022 on Disney+hotstar. The name of the film is ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe?’ Shreyash Talpade has played the title role in this film.
Leg spinner Pravin Tambe got emotional after watching the film based on his life. Kolkata Knight Riders’ Twitter handle shared a video in which Tambe can be seen watching the movie with KKR team. He then got up to say a few word.
“I just want to say” he said, before tearing up. The team then broke into applause.
“Just never give up on your dreams. Dreams do come true. Really, dreams do come true,”tambe added. “a lot of people know that I debuted when I was 41, but they don’t know what I did before that. So people will watch the movie and get to know and hopefully it will make them think that one should never give up,” he further said.

“We were quite excited to watch the movie, and today we finally got to see it. It was emotional the songs were also nice, and then hearing his speech at the end I was a little teary at the end,” KKR captain Shreyas iyer said.
Tambe’s short but a very encouraging journey
When Pravin was young, he wanted to be a fast bowler but it was his Orient shipping captain Ajay Kadam who asked him to bowl leg-spin.
He received an IPL contract with Rajasthan Royals after being spotted by scouts during an invitational T20 tournament. In 2014 pravin also take hat-trick against kkr. And in 2014 he also become highest wicket taker for Rajasthan Royals.
Pravin also played Abu Dabhi T10 League where he was a part of Sindhis. Pravin also regestered a hat-trick in 2018 edition of the league making him the 1st player to take 5 wickets in T10 league.
