David Warner was in his scintillating best during the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday evening. The southpaw has made useful contributions ever since he came in to the Playing XI for the Delhi Capitals, which is his new franchise. The Australian batsman played many beautiful shots during his inning, but one particular shot caught the attention of everyone as David Warner turns right hander to play the extraordinary shot.
David Warner turns right hander
Delhi Capitals batsmen ran a riot against the Sunrisers bowlers in the 50th match of the Indian Premier League. The match against Hyderabad was a must-win game for Delhi and they brought their ‘A’ game forward to win the game. Warner’s inning played an important role in Delhi breaching the 200-run mark. Interestingly, David Warner turns right hander during his inning and played an outstanding shot off Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s delivery.
The inventive shot came on the first delivery of the 19th over during the Delhi Capitals inning when Bhuvneshwar came in to bowl the penultimate over. Warner reversed his stance and got into a bit of a tangle, but managed to steer the ball down to third man and it reached the boundary. This was quite an innovative shot by the “Right-Handed” David Warner and the shot has been hogging limelight ever since the video was posted online.

Delhi Capitals managed to score a mammoth 207 runs in their 20 overs; courtesy, David Warner and Rovman Powell. While Warner remained unbeaten on 92, Powell played a blistering knock of 67 Not-Out.
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a poor start as they lost early wickets and couldn’t recover from there, eventually losing the match by 21 runs. The win by Delhi has kept their chances of making it to the playoffs alive, but they will have to keep winning the rest of the matches to secure a berth in the playoffs.
