The former Indian all-rounder and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has been at the helm of the affairs since 2019 for the Indian team. He has done a good job so far; however, the job hasn’t been devoid of criticism which is part and parcel of the position he is in. Yesterday, the former cricketer tweeted a post which created a lot of confusion amongst the fans and now the BCCI President has clarified his cryptic tweet.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly clarifies his cryptic tweet
The tweet by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly came on Wednesday evening and soon became the talk of the town with fans trying to decipher the hidden meaning of the post. While many fans thought that Ganguly had resigned from the post of BCCI President, others speculated that he may be on the verge of starting his political career. Many even went on to say that ‘Dada’ is going to be nominated for Rajya Sabha with a BJP ticket.
Ganguly’s tweet created such a furore that BCCI secretary Jay Shah had to confirm to the news outlets that Ganguly has not resigned from the post. Ultimately, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly himself had to clarify his cryptic tweet to the fans. He explained that he has not resigned from his post, nor is he going to enter politics. In fact, the current BCCI President is going launch an education app worldwide which is going to help a lot of people.

While BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has got new plans on his mind, team India is preparing for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa which will commence on 09th June. An 18-member squad was announced over a week ago with Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh getting maiden call-ups for the Indian team. The team will look forward to get their combination right before the T20 World Cup begins in October.
