The South African wicketkeeper-batsman, Kyle Verreynne changes his batting position because his grandfather in the stands felt ill during the first test match against England at lords.
Primarily, the wicketkeeper-batsman came to bat at the number six position, but in the first test match, he changed his position to number 7.
In the first test match, when South African opening batsman Sarel Erwee gets dismissed by Ben Stokes, and then all-rounder Marco Jansen came to the crease instead of Verrynne. However, it did not take long as Rassie Vander Dussen gets out in the span of just 12 balls by England’s captain Ben Stokes, and Verrynne came to the crease at number 7.
In this inning, South African wicketkeeper, Verrynne just scored 11 runs with one boundary and was dismissed and he became the 100th wicket of him at lords by Stuart Broad but he did his duty from behind the stumps as he took four catches in the match.
As Verrynne’s grandfather’s health is concerned, the paramedical staff instantly called in the Edrich stand, where he was seated for a while. Then, shifted to the hospital in London, where he is recovering very well and be healthy soon.
In this match, the South African team won the toss and elected to field first. England gave a bizarre batting and just managed to score 165 runs in the first inning. South African bowling star Kagiso Rabada took his 12th five-wicket haul in the inning. South African opener Dean Elgar and Saral Erwee came to bat and gave a good start for their team. Saral Erwee scored 73 runs with six boundaries in this inning and managed his team to achieve a total of 326 runs, and managed the lead of 161 runs at the end of the first inning.

In the England second inning, openers faced the new ball well then again Zak Crawley was again dismissed by the left-arm spinner, Keshav Maharaj. After his wicket, the batting order collapsed again and scored 149 runs. As a result, the South African team easily won by an innings and 12 runs.
Kagiso Rabada was awarded man of the match for his brilliant seven wickets, where there is one fifer as well.
