Suresh Raina, one of the finest Indian fielders, surprised everyone with his athleticism in the Semi-final of Road Safety World Series.

Netizens applauded his excellent catch to dismiss Ben Dunk as the catch reminded everyone of some brilliant catches he has taken in the blue jersey during his international career.

Raina takes a blinder to get rid of Ben Dunk

Suresh Raina was fielding at backward point region which is considered as one of the most important position in the field in the 16th over of the semi-final game.

Abhimanyu Mithun bowled a wide low full toss which was chipped into the air by Ben Dunk in search of a boundary, eventually finding the safe hands of Suresh Raina.

Fielding right at the edge of circle, Raina produced a Herculean effort as he dived towards his right side to take that catch using every inch of his body.

Ben Dunk had timed his shot quite well using the pace of the tall right arm pacer, Abhimanyu Mithun in order to get a boundary towards deep point.

His Superman catch was cheered by all his teammates including skipper Sachin Tendulkar.

Raina’s catch was really crucial in the context of the game as the Australian batter was cruising towards his fifty as he had already scored a swifty 46 off just 26 deliveries including 5 fours and a couple of sixes.

The Australia Legends Team had got a good start as both their openers Shane Watson and Alex Doolan produced a 30+ score.

The semi-final game between India Legends and Australia Legends in the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International in Raipur was stopped due to after the 17th over of Australian innings.
