Team India’s young pacer Mohammed Siraj missed the stumps with an unnecessary throw in the second ODI against South Africa as he was trying to run David Miller out.
Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers for Team India as he conceded just 38 runs in his 10 overs while picking three crucial top-order wickets. However, his wild throw allowed the guests to get four additional runs.

The Hyderabad pacer bowled a quick good length delivery to Keshav Maharaj on the second ball of the 48th over which was a play-and-a-miss from Keshav Maharaj.
Wicketkeeper Sanju Samson threw the ball back to Siraj who eventually had an angry sigh at the stumps in order to run out David Miller.
Siraj had clearly noticed that Miller was standing way out of his crease and hence attempted a powerful throw which was nowhere close to the stumps.
There was no fielder on the long-on position which made sure India gifted four runs to the Proteas.
Siraj along with Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer had a long discussion with on-field umpire as they felt the ball was dead but the umpires ruled it in favor of the African side signalling four runs.

However, Siraj moved on from the incident quite quickly as he bowled an excellent 50th over getting rid of Keshav Maharaj while giving away just 3 runs.
The visitors got to a competitive total of 278/7 as they got big fifties from Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram on a slow Ranchi wicket.
Team India chased down this total comfortably courtesy of Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten hundred and Ishan Kishan’s quick knock of 93.
After getting defeated in Lucknow, Team India squared the series 1-1 in the second game in Ranchi as they chased down the target with 25 balls remaining while losing just three wickets.
