Though the skipper has failed to turn up during the 2022 T20 World Cup, scoring just 89 runs off 5 games, he has contributed to the side’s success through his spot-on bowling changes and field placements.
Moreover, Rohit Sharma is a big match player for India and the lack of severity of his injury means he’ll be there to thwack the England bowlers for quick runs.
If the Hitman can lend support to the already firing top-order of Virat Kohli, SKY, and KL Rahul, containing the Indian batting will be a herculean task for Jos Buttler’s men.
