Australia’s explosive opener David Warner smashed a scintillating hundred in the third ODI against England.
However, it was Warner’s gesture after getting departed which was actually heartwarming.

Warner played a stellar knock of 106 runs off just 102 balls which included two sixes and eight fours. The explosive opener, along with Travis Head looked unstoppable as the duo took Australia to a solid start in the third ODI against England after already attaining a 2-0 unassailable lead in the series.
Warner eventually lost his wicket to Olly Stone and received a huge round of applause from the audience while going back to the pavilion. Just as he was going towards the dressing room, he saw a few young fans applauding his knock and he gifted his gloves to one of the young fans. The young fan couldn’t believe his luck as he kept running and felt as if he was on top of the world.

Eventually, he showed those gloves to his family members who too couldn’t believe the gift they had gotten from Warner. Cricket fans love getting mementos from their loved stars and this surprise gift was definitely precious for the young fans.
The Australian team looked in complete control of the match as they posted a mammoth total of 355 runs courtesy of a surreal knock played by Travis Head. The opener scored 152 runs off just 130 deliveries which included 16 fours and 4 sixes. The Aussie innings got some finishing touch from Mitchell Marsh who scored a quickfire 30 off just 16 deliveries. Olly Stone was the pick of the bowlers for England who despite leaking 85 runs got four crucial wickets.

The T20 champion England Team has already lost the first two games by 6 wickets and 72 runs respectively. This ODI series is crucial for both sides as the ODI World Cup is scheduled for October-November 2023 in India. All the focus from now will shift from the T20 format to the ODI format of the game as teams will look to conquer the marquee event that happens once every four years.
