India and Australia are set to take on each other in the 2nd Test of the series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. The men in blue are in a pole position to take on a 2-0 lead in the series after winning the 2nd Test. The former Indian Cricketer Wasim Jaffer names his India Playing XI for 2nd Test vs AUS; makes two big changes.
After a shambolic defeat in the Nagpur Test Australia is hungry for revenge. They might like to make a few changes in their playing xi from the previous game. The batting display from the Aussies was unacceptable in the 1st Test and they would definitely want to improve it.
India on the other hand won’t be making any changes in their team from the previous game considering the results. The arrival of in-form Shreyas Iyer might make Suryakumar Yadav sit out on the bench for the second test.
A lot of talks going on about the Indian playing xi whether they should go with an unchanged eleven or make a few changes. The former Indian cricketer voiced out his views on the playing XI of India for the Delhi test.
Wasim Jaffer names his India Playing XI for 2nd Test
The all-time Ranji Trophy top scorer has made two bold changes in his playing XI for the second test. Wasim Jaffer has replaced KL Rahul with in form Shubhman Gill.
KL Rahul is having a very rough patch in his career right now. In the first test, he scored tentative 21 runs and threw his wicket away just before the stumps of Day 1. KL Rahul’s cautious play might make him lose his place in the Indian team as there are many potential replacements for him waiting on the bench.

On the other hand, Shubhman has been in red-hot form recently. In the span of 1 month, he has smashed an ODI double hundred and a T20I ton for India. There is no good reason for Shubhman to be sitting out on the bench after such a performance.
