Team India’s star batter Virat Kohli is known for being quite active on the field irrespective of the situation of the game. Virat Kohli had a hilarious chitchat with his teammates during the first session of Day 5 of the fourth test between India and Australia which was caught by the stump mic.
Virat Kohli caught saying ‘Aaj plane main udaunga’, video goes viral on social media
Team India is looking to finish the test series against Australia on a high note after getting a 2-1 lead. The Men in Blue secured a healthy first innings lead of 91 runs in the fourth test at Ahmedabad and are trying to dismiss the Australian side quickly in the second innings on Day 5 of the test match.
Virat Kohli likes constant verbal chitchats on the field to keep his teammates active on the field. The former Indian skipper got into one such hilarious conversation during the morning session of Day 5 after Ravichandran Ashwin got rid of Aussie spinner Matthew Kuhnemann.
“Dus minute dur hai, plane mein pehle hi baith jaunga. Hein? Plane main udaunga aaj,” Kohli was heard saying while fielding at slips as the stump mic caught his words perfectly. The video of Virat Kohli’s hilarious chitchat with his teammates went viral across social media platforms.

Ravichandran Ashwin bowled a flighted outside off delivery to Matthew Kuhnemann which spun back in to him and went on to smash his front pad as on-field umpire Nitin Menon raised his finger. After Kuhnemann’s dismissal, Indian fielders looked quite motivated as they kept the chitchats going when Marnus Labuschagne walked in to bat.
Earlier, Virat Kohli had slammed 186 runs off 386 balls on Day 4 which allowed Team India to get a convincing lead against Australia in the first innings. Virat’s hundred in the Ahmedabad test was his first test ton after more than three years which must have relieved him.
Meanwhile, the test match is heading towards a draw as the Aussies have made a positive start on the final day of the match. While the Indian team did get rid of Kuhnemann quickly, the pair of Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne settled themselves well on the flat Ahmedabad wicket.
While it looks difficult for the Men in Blue to seal a victory in the fourth test, they have already qualified for the World Test Championship final after New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 2 wickets in Christchurch.
