IPL 2023 has reached it’s halfway mark with some spectacular individual performances and nail-biting thrillers. However, there are a few talented players who are yet to get their opportunities to showcase their potential in the ongoing edition of the cash-rich league and might feature in the second half of IPL 2023.
Here’s the Playing 11 of Strong Players who have yet to play in this season:
1. Quinton de Kock (wk) (LSG) ✈️
Quinton de Kock was the pillar of Lucknow Super Giants batting in IPL 2022. He’s yet to get a game in IPL 2023 despite being in sublime form as Kyle Mayers started off well for them.
2. Manan Vohra (LSG)
Manan Vohra had played some exciting innings for his previous franchise Punjab Kings and has scored 1073 runs in IPL. He might get to feature in a few games as guys like Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni haven’t fired yet.
3. Joe Root (c) (RR) ✈️
The English batter has a great record against spinners and as the tournament progresses Rajasthan Royals might be tempted to use his technique against spinners and his leadership qualities as well.
4. Dewald Brevis (MI) ✈️
The young Proteas batter has got the ability to play some brilliant shots. He played 7 games for MI in the previous edition but is yet to get a game in IPL 2023.
5. Yash Dhull (DC)
The India Under-19 captain is waiting for his opportunities and might prove to be the solution of a fragile middle order of Delhi Capitals.
6. KS Bharat (GT)
KS Bharat hasn’t got a game yet as Wriddhiman Saha has done a pretty good job for Gujarat Titans. He can play a few shots at the top order and will look for his opportunities in the second half.
7. Daniel Sams (LSG) ✈️
The left-arm pacer has got some brilliant cutters which will prove to be vital for the LSG franchise as the pitches will get slower over time.
8. Shivam Mavi (GT)
Shivam Mavi made his international debut earlier this year and impressed everyone with the new ball. Gujarat Titans will look to give him a few opportunities as the tournament progresses.
9. KC Cariappa (RR)
KC Cariappa is a mystery spinner and has already played 11 IPL games in which he has taken 8 wickets.

10. Siddharth Kaul (RCB)
The RCB pacer has got 58 wickets in 55 games till now and had done a decent job for his previous franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad.
11. Simarjeet Singh (CSK)
Simarjeet Singh was a regular member of CSK side in IPL 2022 but is recovering from an injury and might feature in the last few games of IPL 2023.
