RCB star batter Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the most loved celebrity couples and fans love watching them together. Recently during a promotional event, Anushka Sharma trolled Virat Kohli with an ‘Aaj to run bana le’ taunt after which the star batter came up with an epic reply.
Virat Kohli’s perfect reply after being sledged by his wife Anushka Sharma
Virat and Anushka made an appearance on Puma’s ‘Let there be sports’ campaign last month and interacted with a few fans and engaged in some interesting games. Anushka could also be seen teasing Kohli by trying to imitate his on-field celebrations, evoking laughter from the audience.
In one of the videos from the event, Anushka Sharma is seen teasing Virat about his golden duck on April 23, 2023 in the IPL game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals in Bengaluru.
“Aaj 24th April hai, aaj toh run bana le Kohli (Today April 24, at least score runs today, Kohli),” Anushka says in the video to which Virat Kohli gets into a laugh riot. However, just moments later, the star RCB batter gave an epic reply to Anushka that got the crowd going.
“Jitne tumhari team ne pure April, May, June, July mei run nahi banae utne match haii mere,” Virat hilariously replied to Anushka Sharma’s sledging. The video of Kohli’s brutal reply to Anushka has gone viral on social media.

It’s worth noting that 23rd April is considered an unlucky date for Virat as he has scored three Golden Ducks on the same date in IPL. His wife Anushka tried making a hilarious comment on his string of failures on April 23.
In 2017, the star batter was dismissed by Nathan Coulter-Nile against Kolkata Knight Riders on his first delivery. In IPL 2022, pacer Marco Jansen of the Sunrisers Hyderabad dismissed him for another Golden Duck. In IPL 2023, he was dismissed for a Golden Duck against Rajasthan Royals.
In IPL 2023, the RCB batter smashed 639 runs in 14 games at an average of 53 and a strike rate of 140. Virat also smashed a scintillating ton in the final league game for RCB against Gujarat Titans.
