The WTC 2025 India Schedule consists of 19 tests as the Rohit Sharma-led side will face 6 nations out of which there will be 3 away series. Team India will begin the next WTC cycle with a tour to the Caribbean to face the West Indies side in a two-match Test series scheduled in July 2023.

Apart from the West Indies tour, Team India also has overseas tours to South Africa scheduled to begin in December 2023 and Australia in November 2024 in the itinerary.

The Men in Blue will also host England for 5 Tests, Bangladesh for 2 Tests and New Zealand for 3 Tests over the next two years in the WTC 2023-2025 cycle

WTC 2025 India Schedule

  • India tour of West Indies: West Indies vs India – 2 Tests – July/August 2023
  • India Tour of South Africa 2023-24: South Africa vs India – 2 Tests – December 2023 to January 2024
  • England Tour of India 2024: India vs England – 5 Tests – January/February 2024
  • Bangladesh Tour of India 2024: India vs Bangladesh – 2 Tests – September/October 2024
  • New Zealand Tour of India 2024: India vs New Zealand – 3 Tests – October/November 2024
  • India Tour of Australia 2024-25 – Border-Gavaskar Trophy: Australia vs India – 5 Tests – November 2024 – January 2025

The Indian Team qualified for the WTC final in the last two cycles. However, they couldn’t carry on the momentum in finals on both occasions. New Zealand defeated Team India by 8 wickets in the WTC 2021 final while they lost by 209 runs against Australia in the recently concluded WTC 2023 final.

The Rohit Sharma-led side will now try to move on from the disappointment they faced in the final played at the Kennington Oval in London. Their next game will be against West Indies beginning from July 12.

They will also miss the services of some of their key players in the first test series of the WTC 2025 India schedule. There is no update on Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness as of now who hasn’t played for the Indian Team for quite some time now after he got injured last year.

Star keeper-batter Rishabh Pant will also take some time to recover from the injuries he suffered during a car accident last year. Shreyas Iyer had undergone back surgery while KL Rahul has undergone a thigh injury. All these injury issues might prove to be costly for the Men in Blue in the next WTC cycle.
