Chennai Super Kings owned Major League Cricket franchise Texas Super Kings (TSK) has recently announced their squad via their Twitter account with CSK star players Ambati Rayudu, Devon Conway, Mitchel Santner, alongside Gujarat Titans’ David Miller will be the part of the squad for the inaugural season of the Major League Cricket 2023.
Ambati Rayudu to set for USA challenge after IPL retirement
Although, Ambati Rayudu recently announced his retirement from all form’s of cricket after winning the Indian Premier League with Chennai Super Kings under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, Rayudu was mostly used as the impact player in the recently ended IPL season and he scored 158 runs in 16 matches. However, he will be eligible to take part in foreign leagues. Dwayne Bravo, Mitchell Santner, and Devon Conway are some other players from Chennai Super Kings who will be seen playing alongside Rayudu in MLC 2023.
The coaching staff of the Texas Super Kings includes Stephen Flemings who will be the Head Coach, Eric Simons, and Albie Morkel will be the assistant coach alongside Russell Radhakrishnan being the team manager. 4 players were directly taken from the Chennai Super Kings setup, whereas, David Miller is from Gujrat Titans, and Daniel Sams is part of Lucknow Super Giants.

All the matches will be played across 2 stadiums only, The first 8 matches will be played at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas whereas, the remaining 7 games will be played at Church Street Park in North Carolina. The six-team league will see Texas Super Kings taking on Los Angles Knights in the opening match of the tournament on 13 July 2023, at 6 AM IST, and it will be played in a single-round-robin-format, before a 4 match play-off phase.
