Marnus Labuschagne gets trolled as he puts fallen chewing back in his mouth
Australia had lost both their openers Usman Khawaja and David Warner against English pacer Josh Tongue on Day 1 of the second Ashes 2023 Test at Lord’s. Marnus along with Steve Smith was looking to bring back the Australian innings on track.
The weird incident happened during the 45th over of the Australian innings as Marnus Labuschagne was seen spitting his chewing gum on the ground. Much to the fans’ surprise and disgust, after throwing his gum on the ground, the Aussie batter was seen picking it back up and putting it right back in his mouth.
While the cricket fans at first couldn’t believe what they had just seen, they didn’t take much time to troll Labuschagne for the weird act. The video soon went viral across the social media platforms.

Marnus Labuschagne played a hard-toiled knock as he kept leaving the outside off deliveries bowled by the four English pacers. The Australian batter was dismissed as he nicked Ollie Robinson’s delivery that just shaped away after scoring 47 runs off 93 deliveries including 7 fours.
After the dismissal of Labuschagne, Steve Smith along with Travis Head took on the English pacers. Both Smith and Head kept playing their shots and took the Australian team in the driver’s seat.
Steve Smith smashed a heroic hundred before getting dismissed by Josh Tongue after scoring 110 runs. Travis Head too played an aggressive knock of 77 runs off just 73 deliveries and kept attacking the English bowling lineup on Day 1 of the second Ashes 2023 test.
However, England pacers made a remarkable comeback in the first session of Day 2 as they dismissed 5 Australian batters as the Aussie side was bowled out for a score of 416 runs. Both Ollie Robinson and Josh Tongue took 3 wickets each.
