It is great to bat on once the batter has got his eye on the ball. There is some seam movement on offer on this wicket but the bounce of this pitch is very much predictable.
The spinner will also have a role to play on the 3rd and 4th days of the test match as the ball does grip a bit on this pitch. Both teams will include a spinner in their teams along with an express pace bowler who can play some chin music in the middle.
The toss winner would like to bowl first on this wicket as it does offer some help to the fast bowlers in the initial phase. Although there is very slight movement in the air it is a very appropriate wicket for seam bowling.
