The 5th edition of the men’s Emerging Asia Cup has been started today. Eight Asian nations are participating in the 10-day-long tournament. Except Nepal, the rest of the nations have fielded their A teams. The 8 teams are divided into two groups of 4 sides each. During the group stage, each side will play 3 games and the top 2 from both the groups will head to the semi-finals. The groups of the Emerging Asia Cup are as follows; Group A: (Afghanistan A, Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Oman A), Group B: (India A, Pakistan A, UAE A, Nepal).
Talking about India A side, Yash Dhull-led team will commence their campaign on July 14 against UAE A. The following two group matches of India will take place on July 17 and 19 against Nepal and Pakistan respectively.
