The third edition of The Hundred is set to begin on the 1st of August with the opening game between Trent Rockets and Southern Braves. The full fixtures have been declared and the tickets are also out for sale. The teams have also declared their rosters for the tournament. Here is The Hundred 2023: Men’s and Women’s squads.
There has been speculation going on whether the ECB will disband The Hundred after looking at the hype of MLC, ILT20, and SA20. The English cricket board will have a real challenge ahead of them to cope with T20 Blast and The Hundred the next year.
All 8 teams have 3 overseas players in their squad
Each 16 men’s squad contains 1 ECB centrally contracted player along with 3 overseas superstars. Ben Stokes, Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Sam Curran, Jos Buttler, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, and Chris Woakes are the 8 marquee English players to feature in the league.
The T20 superstar of Pakistan, Australia, and New Zealand are also going to embrace the league with their presence. Tim David, Shaheen Afridi, Mathew Wade, Mitchell Marsh, Devon Conway, and Rashid Khan are some of the big names who will play in the Hundred 2023.
