UAE is set to play its first-ever T20 game against the Kiwis. The Dubai International Stadium will host the three-match T20 series starting on the 17th of August. Here is the information about Dubai International Cricket Stadium Pitch Report and others.
The two teams have never faced each other in any T20 game till now however they did play in a One-day international back in the 1996 World Cup.
Talking about the two teams the visitors are looking at this series as an opportunity to test their aspiring young talents. The experienced Tim Southee will lead a number of fresh faces on the tour. After this series, New Zealand has a more significant challenge ahead of them in the likes of Buttler’s England.
On the other hand, UAE hasn’t been able to live up to the expectation in the ICC World Cup qualifiers lately held in Zimbabwe. They were knocked out in the group stage with a very poor performance. However, this series could prove to be a turnaround for them as a lot of people will be keeping a close eye on this series as they have a strong team as their opponent.

Dubai International Cricket Stadium Pitch Report
The well-equipped Dubai Internation Stadium will host the three-match T20 series between New Zeland and UAE. This pitch benefits evenly to both the batters and the bowlers. In the first few overs, there will be a lot of lateral movement and the swing bowlers will enjoy bowling with the new ball on this wicket.
However, spinners don’t get much purchase on this wicket as the pitch is relatively flat. The batters will dominate the majority of the game on this wicket except for the first few overs.
The toss winner should opt to bowl first on this wicket as the fast bowlers can extract the maximum amount of purchase when the wicket is fresh.
Dubai Weather forecast
It’s evenly humid out there in Dubai with the temperature rising to 34 to 36 degrees Celsius after the sun sets. However, there are no signs of rain and we will see full action in three games of the series.
