Team India are locking horns with the Nepal cricket team in the fifth match of the ongoing continental event. Earlier, the highly-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan saw no result as the rain played spoilsport just ahead of the start of Pakistan’s innings. As a result, the two teams shared a point apiece, meaning that Pakistan qualified for the Super 4 stage. Meanwhile, India will have to beat Nepal to advance to the next stage.
Nevertheless, if the game sees no result due to rain, India will still qualify for the Super 4 stage with 2 points. Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal posted 178/6 in 37.5 overs before the game was delayed due to a wet outfield. The two on-field umpires and the fourth umpire inspected the field for a while before the play resumed. At the time of writing this article, Nepal posted 183/6 in 39 overs.

As it turned out, the ball went towards skipper Rohit Sharma in the follow-through. The skipper was sharp at the slip as he took a clean catch. He uttered the cuss word because he was unhappy with his teammates’ fielding levels. Earlier, the likes of Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer dropped regulation catches. Those were catches that should have been taken, considering the fielding standards of Indian cricketers.
