Team India led by Rohit Sharma are currently involved in the ongoing game against Australia, which is being held at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Australian skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first. During Australia’s innings, Jarvo invaded the pitch on Sunday. For the unversed, Daniel Jarvis, also known as Jarvo has time and again invaded the pitch in the past in international games.
The cricket fraternity was well aware of Jarvis stealing the spotlight during India’s tour of England in 2021 where he invaded three of India’s matches against England. Today, he once again hogged the limelight by breaching the security and invading the pitch during the India vs Australia game and the video clip of the same has gone viral on social media. The security guards were quick enough to drag him off the field.
Virat Kohli rushes towards Jarvo and has a word with him
Jarvo donned the Indian outfit as you can watch in the video below. Former Indian captain Virat Kohli who was watching it on the field quickly rushed towards the pitch invader and had a word with him. Kohli looked visibly upset as these silly things on the field were bound to disturb the momentum of the game.

Meanwhile, Team India are currently in the driver’s seat against Australia as Rohit Sharma made tactical decisions, which helped the team reap rewards. Australian batters played right into the hands of the Indian bowlers and ended up losing important wickets. Team India were clinically good across all aspects including bowling, fielding and more importantly, gave away very few extras.
