Babar Azam and his men have been truly off-color since they lost against their arch-rivals India on 14th October. In addition to their miserable performance in this tournament, their problem doubled as Afghanistan cracked the Pak code. In that game, the Pakistani skipper Babar Azam became furious with his best mate Muhammad Rizwan as he convinced him to take a rubbish review.
Nothing has worked for Pakistan in this World Cup as they have struggled in all three departments when they are pressured. Their captain Babar Azam has also taken several failed DRS, which has also taken a mental toll on his team’s gameplan.
During the game against Afghanistan Pakistan took another blind review in which the ball was going down the leg. The stupid review from the Pak team is getting criticised all over the world and cricket fans from all over the world are trolling the Pakistan team.
Muhammad Rizwan convinces Babar Azam to take a foolish review
While Pakistan was desperately searching for that first wicket of Afghanistan, Shaheen Afridi bowled an inswinger to Ibrahim Zadran which struck him high on his pads. The ball was clearly going down the leg and except Rizwan and Shaheen, every player was quite sure about that.
After a tense discussion with his captain, Rizwan managed to convince Babar Azam to take a risky review as he thought that the ball would strike the leg stump. The skipper showed his faith in his wicketkeeper and went for a review which proved costly to the team in green.

The decision of the umpire was correct as the ball tracker showed the ball would clearly miss the leg stump. Babar Azam gave a cocky look to Muhammad Rizwan and it seemed that the captain gave a warning to his keeper to never convince him again for a review.

Things didn’t seem nice between the dynamic duo of Pakistan as their team was down badly at that moment. Whereas Ibrahim Zadran almost sealed the game for his team with his brilliant 87 runs off 113 balls before he was removed by Hasan Ali.
