The first semi-final fixture between India and New Zealand witnessed a mouth-watering contest as both teams had a go at each other throughout the game. Former Pakistani bowler Sikandar Bakhat who represented the national cricket team from 1976 to 1989 claimed that the Indian captain Rohit Sharma is fixing tosses in the ongoing ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. He clarified that the Indian skipper tosses the coin a tad far away from the opposition’s captain and the ICC officials, so much so that the counterpart doesn’t crosscheck about the call.

“Can I give you a conspiracy theory? At the time of the toss, Rohit Sharma throws the coin distant from the range of any opposition captain. Thus, the opposition captain cannot go and crosscheck about the call,” former Pakistani fast bowler Sikandar Bakht told a local news channel in Pakistan. His remarks went viral on social media and the majority of the users trolled him.
