To overcome this budget constraint, Mumbai Indians orchestrated a trade deal with Royal Challengers Bangalore, exchanging Cameron Green for 17.50 crore, which is his IPL Auction 2023 price.
MI traded in Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans for 15 crore
With the addition of 17.75 crore to their purse, Mumbai Indians successfully signed Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans in a cash deal. This means that Mumbai Indians paid 15 crore to the Gujarat-based franchise to acquire the services of the all-rounder. However, this deal may prove costly to Gujarat Titans whom Pandya led to two consecutive finals. Amid, there are speculations of Shubman Gill taking the role of Gujarat Titans’s captain.
