Several people from every nook and corner of the country turned up in large numbers to have darshan of the new Ram Lalla idol, as the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya happened on January 22, Monday. Among them, several members of the sporting fraternity marked their presence for the ceremony. Indian legends such as Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble made it to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s Pran Prathistha ceremony. The pictures of the same spread like wildfire on social media portals.
Apart from them, former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad also marked his presence whereas India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja witnessed the Ram Temple Consecration ceremony. On the contrary, India’s woman cricketer, Mithali Raj and woman’s badminton player, Saina Nehwal also made it to the Pran Prathistha ceremony at the temple. PM Narendra Modi performed the main rituals officiated by a select capacity of priests and the video clip of the same went viral as well.
Virat Kohli’s look-alike confuses the crowd at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
Temples often attract a huge number of devotees, especially during festivals or on special occasions. Gatherings often involve a large number of people congregating for religious or cultural purposes. Meanwhile, on the special occasion, countless people turned in numbers in Ayodhya as the devotees were allowed to offer their prayers. Case in point, Virat Kohli’s look-alike became the talk of the town after he was spotted in Ayodhya.

Kohli’s doppelganger was seen donning the Indian jersey with the name “Virat” printed on the backside. He was spotted wearing a sunglass and he looked quite similar to Kohli, upon viewing him from a short distance. Upon seeing him, plenty of people even thought that it was Virat Kohli as most of them went up to him to take a selfie. The highlight of the video was Kohli’s look-alike enacted just like the way Kohli does on the field.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli recently withdrew from the first two Tests of the forthcoming five-match Test series against England. “Virat has spoken to Captain Rohit Sharma, the team management and the selectors and has emphasized that while representing the country has always been his top priority, certain personal situations demand his presence and undivided attention,” the BCCI said in its statement. The first Test between India and England will kick off on January 25, Friday at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
