However, they survived because Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant throws the ball at the wrong end. This made Rohit Sharma angry on Rishabh as he missed the opportunity to get a wicket.
A run-out chance was missed as Shai Hope was a long way away from the crease. Meanwhile, West Indies hopes were alive to win the second ODI of the three matches series. However, later on, Kuldeep Yadav’s hat-trick helped team India to level the series.

Earlier in the match, West Indies after winning the toss invited the hosts to bat first. Meanwhile, Team India scored 387-5 at the end of the 50th over and set a target of 388 in the front of Caribbean Team. From India Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, both openers have scored a century and helped the team to set a huge target. In the reply, West Indies could manage to score 280 runs before getting all out in the 44th over. From West Indies Shai Hope and Nicholas Puran played decent innings, however, they lost the match.
Meanwhile, Indian spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav took the second hat-trick of his ODI career. And also he becomes the only cricketer of India to take two hat-tricks in International matches. Rohit Sharma, who scored 159 runs off 138 balls, announced with Player of the Match award.
