India is currently on the tour of New Zealand for 5 matches T20I, 3 matches ODIs and 2 matches Test series. Out of which, T20 and ODI series have already been completed in which Team India whitewashed the host’s team in T20 series and New Zealand whitewashed the visitor’s team in ODIs. And now they both have to play the remaining two test matches from 21st February. Ahead of the first test, Team India is currently playing a three-day practice match against New Zealand XI at Basin Reserve in Wellington.
Meanwhile in India vs New Zealand XI practice test match, Team India is busy to find their ideal combination for the upcoming two test matches. However, their batting performance on the first day left a lot to be desired. On the very first day, from the Indian team, only Hanuma Vihari and Chteshwar Pujara could manage to play decent innings. Hanuma Vihari scored a hundred while Pujara scored 93 and other batsmen folded like a house of cards. As a result, the team could manage to score only 263 before getting all-out.
However, in the bowling Indian team pace bowler performed well as they dismissed the opponents for 235. Mohammad Shami took 3crucial wickets. However, it was Bumrah’s performance that was the most heartening, especially considering his failure to pick up a single wicket in the recently concluded One Day series.
In the second innings, New Zealand XI after losing early two wickets, batsmen Rachin Ravindra and Finn Alen stuck the innings for a while. And thereafter Jasprit Bumrah with his magical ball took the wicket which even stunned the batsman. Here we are sharing the video of the incident at the below of this article. This video of Jasprit Bumrah magical ball is continuously making the rounds on the internet.
