AB de Villiers ends the Virat-Babar debate with a one-line reply to journalist Vikrant Gupta

The South African legend jumps in an argument between Indian and Pakistan journalists.

AB de Villiers ends the Virat-Babar debate with a one-line reply to journalist Vikrant Gupta when he mocked the conditions of the Pakistani wicket.

Aaj Tak journalist Vikrant Gupta mocked the conditions of Pakistan’s pitches on Twitter. In reply to Vikrant a Pakistani citizen replied to him with a contemptuous statement comparing India’s wickets to Pakistan’s.

In the lately happened test series in Pakistan, England, and the New Zealand team scored a lot of runs and there was a bare minimum of help for the bowlers in the wickets out there. Both the test matches of the New Zealand and Pakistan series end up in a draw.

In the first test of the England and Pakistan test series, 4 batters of England scored a century in the first innings. Despite the high-scoring encounters, all three matches came to a result and the series was one to remember.

Vikrant Gupta mocked Pakistani pitches on Twitter

The Indian news channel Aaj Tak journalist is very much active on Twitter. He always comes up with a review on every news going out in the current cricket world. Recently he mocked the conditions of Pakistani pitches on Twitter. He said, ” If Virat, Rohit, Pujara, Rahane would have batted on the ‘roads’ in Pakistan, they would have added 10 Test centuries each to their names” 

The journalist compared the Pakistani pitches to the cemented road which offended the Pakistani fans.

In reply to Vikrant, a Pakistani cricket team fan name Haroon said ” If Babar Azam got to bat on these flat Indian tracks he’d have 25 ODI hundreds by now! #INDvSL”

The guy name Haroon said this while using the hashtag of INDvSL to contempt the India wickets used in the ongoing IND vs SL ODI series. India has over 370 runs in 2 games in the series in which Virat has scored centuries.

The South African legend AB de Villiers also had his say in the feisty debate of Indian wickets and Pakistani wickets. While Vikrant and Haroon were busy comparing Virat and Babar keeping in mind the conditions they are playing in ABD comes up with a witty statement.

ABD replied to both Vikrant and Haroon by saying “Try South Africa as a base”. With this, the South African is telling them to compare their records in South African pitches which are considered one of the toughest to bat especially in Test matches. Virat Kohli has a way better record than Babar Azam in South African conditions. So, Kohli is the clear winner for de Villiers in this debate.
