‘Account hacked?’ – Fans left confused as Rajasthan Royals posted a self-trolling tweet

IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals has come out with another baffling tweet and left its fans wondering about their words.

With the presence of social media has made interaction and engagement for players and franchise with their fans very easy. 

Rajasthan Royals is one of the active franchises on all social platforms and constantly presents updates about the current affairs of the game and players. The franchise understands the need of fans with the rising trend of memes. 

The social media team of Rajasthan Royals have been in the headlines for mischievous reasons. Ahead of the IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson was annoyed with a social media post on the franchise’s Twitter  handle which led to the sacking of some of the team members.

Recently the franchise had another tweet to stun the social media users with a post. The Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals replied to a post, through quote tweet, of The Hundred. 

The Hundred posted a picture of Trent Rockets batter Joe Root posing with a young fan wearing the Jersey of Rajasthan Royals. The IPL franchise wrote the caption: ‘fan of a TiNpOt franchise’.

Fans were bemused with the response of IPL 2022 runners-up on the microblogging platform. Some fans assumed that Royals were taking a dig at Trent Rockets, while others guessed the franchise was trolling themselves. 

One user wrote in the comment section: “Are you trolling yourself.” The franchise responded with a popular meme of Indian actor Akshay Kumar from ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ film.

Trent Rockets won their first game of the Men’s Hundred 2022 against Birmingham Phoenix at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
