Adidas unveils new Team India jersey by flying giant replica over Wankhede Stadium

The fans have been hyped up since BCCI has named Adidas as their new kit sponsor. The German company has signed a 5-year deal with Indian Cricket Board. Previously, MPL (Mobile Premier League) sponsored Indian kits and they also designed them. Their 2021 and 2022 T20 WC jerseys were liked by the cricket freaks. Now, Adidas has become the new sponsor and today they unveil the new Team India jersey.

Adidas posted a video on their social media handles where drones can be seen lifting giant versions of the new Team India jersey. The three jerseys are for the 3 different formats; Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. The dark blue jersey will be worn in the shortest format. The light blue which can be seen in the middle of the video is for the ODIs. While it’s obvious that the white one is for the Tests.

All three jerseys have Adidas’s three strips on the shoulders which we can also see in Adidas-sponsored Football Kits such as Real Madrid. Adidas took to their Twitter handle for the big reveal. ‘An iconic moment, An iconic stadium Introducing the new team India Jersey’s’ the handle wrote with a video of the unveiling.

All three jerseys got positive responses and fans hail Adidas for keeping them simple. Most of the fans rated the Test jersey as the best one and some even compared it with Real Madrid’s whites.
