FC Goa to take Qatar giants Al Rayyan in their AFC Champions League debut. The Goa-based football club is set to be the first Indian club to play in ACL. They had finished ISL 2019-20 season at the top spot which gave them direct qualification to the Asian league. A total of 40 Asian clubs are participating in the tournament. All the teams are divided into 10 groups of 4 teams each. Each team will play 6 matches in the group stage with the 3 opponents. The club which will finish at the first spot in each group will qualify for the Round of 16 while the 2nd ranked team may qualify for the Round of 16 if it will be among the 6 best runners-up.
