The Suryakumar Yadav – Virat Kohli saga has a new chapter to it. The latest is a post by the Indian captain on social media which was shared and commented by Suryakumar Yadav. After facing outrage from fans earlier over liking a meme that related Kohli as a ‘paper captain’, Yadav this time made sure he isn’t in the news for the wrong reasons.

In Australia for the test series, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli posted a video of him batting in a practice session facing the Indian bowlers. The post captioned – ‘Love test cricket practice sessions’ went viral in no time and garnered immense views and shares. One among the many to share and comment on it was Mumbai Indians’ batsman Suryakumar Yadav.

Suryakumar Had Faced Outrage From Fans
Surprisingly, Suryakumar Yadav had a week back liked a post on social media which had trolled the Indian captain. This led to widespread outrage among fans who were not pleased with Yadav’s reaction. However, Yadav had managed to undo his act, but not before it was noticed by few. The controversial outrage was around a meme – a pick from the Drama/Thriller Tamil movie Master has a fighting scene which has been portrayed as Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma (aka Hitman) fighting off BCCI selectors and Virat Kohli. Suryakumar Yadav was one of the many who had liked the trolling meme.

The controversy surrounding Suryakumar Yadav’s exclusion from the national team for the tour to Australia drew speculation from various cricket experts. Most of them believed the talented Mumbai batsman should have been on the flight to Australia, at least in the limited-overs series. During the Indian Premier League game between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Mumbai Indians, Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli had a face-off with the former standing firm in his stance.
