After defeating the Punjab side in a close encounter, Virat Kohli decided to give a reply to the trolls intended on the RCB side in the first leg.

Virat Kohli’s RCB sealed their spot in the playoffs on Sunday after defeating Punjab Kings in a close battle. The Bangalore side was able to stop Punjab from scoring big shots in the ultimate overs which led to their 6-run win over the Kings. With this win RCB became the third team this season to qualify for the play-offs. Virat Kohli, during the dressing room chat after the win was heard taking a cheeky dig on the Punjab Kings side.

‘Bahut shaanti hai aaj,’ says Virat Kohli to Troll the Punjab side

Virat Kohli who is known for his aggressive nature gave back to PBKS, the trolls they intended on the RCB side after their triumph over them in the first leg of IPL 2021. Back in the first leg, PBKS defeated RCB in Ahmedabad in a one-sided match. After the win Punjab Kings’ social media team uploaded a picture of the RCB dugout, which was understandably looking dejected after the unwanted result.

The picture was captioned “Yahan pe sab Shanti Shanti hai,” which means “Everything is so quiet here”. The RCB social media team countered the troll with a simple reply by writing, “Because we neither go overboard when we win nor over-analyze a loss”. Further, no reply came from the PBKS side but the RCB fans didn’t seem to like the fact how PBKS tried to troll their favorite team. The fans took on the troll and gave it back to the PBKS side in similar fashion after which the PBKS social media team had to delete the post.

Virat Kohli, after winning the match against PBKS on Sunday, decided to give it all back to the PBKS side as RCB is now in a safe position, unlike Punjab. While the social media team of RCB was recording a footage in the dressing room after the win, Kohli went to say smirkingly, ‘Bahut shaanti hai aaj’ which means “It’s very peaceful today”.

This was a direct dig at the PBKS side as Kohli was seen with a slight grin as he walked away. The person recording the video was also heard laughing. Moreover, when Kohli said it, the captions in the video read “very peaceful today” with laughing emojis. Clearly, the RCB Social media team didn’t want to miss any chance to troll PBKS.
