It is a typical fast bowler’s wicket full of grass and moisture. The swing bowlers would absolutely love to bowl on this surface with the new ball. The rapid wind speed of the city makes the situation even worse for the batters.

Though it’s easy to play on this surface once the ball gets old it still requires discipline throughout the day as the batter is never settled in these wickets.

Toss winners should opt to bowl first and exploit the conditions to the fullest.
