‘Batting bola na tu’ – Rohit Sharma jokingly tries to convince Ravindra Jadeja to change his decision

The Mumbai Indian skipper was in a fun mood and looked relaxed at the time of the toss in the game against CSK.

It was one of the most anticipated clashes of the Indian Premier League when Chennai Super Kings locked horns with Mumbai Indians on the evening of 21st April. While both the teams are struggling this season, there is no dearth of fun and entertainment in the camps to keep the spirits of the players high.

During the toss, the MI captain Rohit Sharma was seen in a jolly mood as he pokes fun with Ravindra Jadeja regarding his decision to bowl first.

It has been a trend this season to bowl first after winning the toss and same was the case in the CSK vs MI game. Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and unsurprisingly opted to bowl first. The decision of bowling first is so obvious this season that even the presenter Nick Knight forgot to ask Jadeja what his team was going to do. Rohit Sharma found the situation funny and jokingly tried to convince Jadeja of batting first.

The top two teams in the history of IPL have not looked like themselves ever since the 15th edition of IPL has begun. Both Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have been trying to figure out their best playing XI even after the first half of the IPL has finished.

Before the CSK vs MI game, the former had won only one game, while the latter had no wins to show on the points table. Unfortunately for MI, they lost the game against CSK as well and now has no victory in seven games on the trot.

Mumbai Indians had a dismal start as both Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan got out on a duck in the first over itself. Though they reached a competitive total of 155, it was not enough to keep Chennai away from a win.

There were hiccups for CSK in the chase but their former captain MS Dhoni lit up the stadium with his ultimate hitting and finished the game in the last over to register their second win. With this defeat, Mumbai Indians are more or less out of the tournament.
