BCCI secretary Jay Shah on January 3 inaugurated a brand new cricket ground in Kalol, Gandhinagar.
During the ceremony, Shah was seen batting on the Kalol pitch and a clip of the same has gone viral on the internet.
In the video, Shah can been seen batting hilariously, taking three steps towards to tramline to defend a full toss outside the off-stump.

Fans troll Jay Shah for his batting technique
Twitter users, meanwhile, have united in huge numbers to troll Shah for his unique batting style.
Some have hailed his batting and touted him as better than out-of-form KL Rahul while others have compared his dancing defense to that of MS Dhoni against spinners.
Interestingly, the stocks of bat manufacturing company SG (Sanspareils Greenlands) have risen by 300 percent after Jay Shah held their willow in his hands.

Shah, who was re-elected as the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) in November is also the serving president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). He had replaced BCB president Nazmul Hassan at the helm of the continental board in January 2021.
Notably, Shah had made headlines for prohibiting Team India to tour Pakistan for 2023 Asia Cup as the cross-border tension just does not allow a friendly interaction.

New BCCI president Roger Binny and secretary Jay Shah had recently sacked the Chetan Sharma-led selection committee after the Men in Blue’s back-to-back horror show at T20 WC.
The appointment of a new and competent selection committee is the central task at hand for the Roger-Shah BCCI unit at present.
