The former cricketer chose the five batting stars in one of his YouTube videos. Brett Lee’s list interestingly consists of 1 Indian, 1 Pakistani, 1 English, and 2 Aussie players.
Besides the Top 5 batsmen, Lee has also picked his Top 5 Fast Bowlers and Spinners in the ongoing T20 World Cup. The former Right-arm quick has kept, Mohammed Shami, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Trent Boult, Mark Wood, and Pat Cummins in his Top 5 pacers list. Whereas Yuzvendra Chahal, Rashid Khan, R Ashwin, Mitchell Santner, and Adam Zampa are the best spinners according to him.
Brett Lee Picks Tim David as one of his Top 5 Batsmen in this T20 WC
The first player in Brett Lee’s list is the Indian batting maestro, Virat Kohli. While talking about him, Lee mentioned that there is pressure on Kohli as 1.3 billion Indians are wishing for him to do well. Lee also said that Kohli is an experienced campaigner and has great technique. He further said that Kohli would love to bat on the bouncy pitches of Australia.
The second batsman that Lee has on his list is David Warner. The right-arm Pacer stated that Warner knows the Australian pitches well and enjoys the pace that they offer. Brett Lee predicted that David Warner will have a blockbuster World Cup as far as scoring runs is concerned. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is 3rd batsman that Lee thinks is going to score big runs in the tournament. He said that if Babar gets going, Pakistan might make it to the finals. Another thing that Brett Lee mentioned about Babar is that he has one of the best cover drives in the world.

Ben Stokes was the fourth name on Lee’s list. He mentioned that Stokes is able to play the short deliveries with ease as he has a great hook shot to counter them. Lee predicted that the England Allrounder will be one of the leading run scorers in this World Cup. The 5th on Brett Lee’s list was a surprising name as he picked the Australian batter, Tim David, in his list. Speaking about Tim David Lee said that David is sort of a wild card entry into his top 5. He said that David has the ability to hit the ball really far and predicted that this World Cup could be his tournament.
