When T20 cricket was introduced in 2004, people were not interested. Many cricket boards were also not giving much preference to it till the first T20 World Cup in 2007 was organized. After India won the inaugural World Cup in 2007 and with the IPL’s entry in 2008, the popularity of T20 cricket took a spike. Now, numerous T20 leagues are being played worldwide and Bollywood is also very fond of the game. The acting community in India has set its own successful T20 league which is called Celebrity Cricket League. The 7th T20 season of the league will commence on February 18. CCL 2023 Teams

CCL 2023 is going to be an 8-team affair. The teams are Mumbai Heroes, Karnataka Bulldozers, Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers, Punjab de Sher and Bhojpuri Dabbangs. Many acting stars will be part of the league. Ritesh Deshmukh will lead Mumbai Heroes, including Sunil Shetty, Bobby Deol and many other Bollywood Stars. While, south stars like Kichcha Sudeep, Akhil Akkineni are also part of the actors’ T20 league.

Zee Entertainment has acquired the broadcasting rights of the Celebrity Cricket League. So, in India, the live telecast of the CCL T20 league can be watched on 9 different channels in 9 languages. Below is the list of channels where you can watch actors’ T20 cricket league.

CCL Cricket 2023 Schedule

In the group stage, all 8 teams will play 4 matches each. So, the group stage will see a total of 16 games. Then, the top 4 teams will enter the semi-finals. The group stage will be hosted by five venues; Lucknow, Jaipur, Bangalore, Trivandrum, and Jodhpur. While the semi-finals and the final are scheduled to play at Hyderabad. The start date of CCL 2023 is February 18 and the final is to be played on March 19. On TV channel, the live telecast of CCL 2023 matches will start at 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM.
