It is really unfortunate for the Indian team that their pace spearhead in white-ball cricket Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the tournament due to the resurfacing of his back injury. Mohammed Shami has been taken in as the replacement for Bumrah. On the other hand, Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary have been called into Australia as net bowlers to share the burden of the main bowlers in the squad.

According to the report by PTI, team India will train hard for 3 days in Perth for five long hours from 11 am to 4 pm. Their last day of 3-day practice will be 12 October which will be followed by their second warm-up game the next day. The report also shares that both Chetan Sakriya and Mukesh Choudhary have gone to Australia as net bowlers to help the main bowlers during practice sessions.

“Mukesh and Chetan flew in with the team yesterday. As of now, they will be with the team for the Perth leg where India is supposed to play a couple of practice games,” said a report by PTI. It is to note that left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh is part of the World Cup squad and he may need rest between games to rejuvenate himself. In that case, the inclusion of Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary will come in handy for the team.
