The last few days have been very significant as far as international cricket is concerned. First, the cancellation of the Manchester Test between England and India made headlines for all the wrong reasons. This was followed by Virat Kohli stepping down as the T20I skipper following the T20I World Cup. Now, the news of team New Zealand cancelling their tour of Pakistan has taken everyone by surprise. Amongst all the reactions, Chris Gayle puzzles the fans with his tweet on Pakistan.

Chris Gayle Is known for living life grand size and enjoying every moment he is involved in. He is a great character both on and off the field who tries to find the funny side in everything. The cancellation of the Pakistan tour by New Zealand came as a blow for plenty of fans and the cricketers, more so, because the Kiwis called off the tour moments before the first ODI was going to take place.

Following the cancellation, a lot of cricketers and fans reacted to the whole scenario. Almost all of them supported Pakistan and amidst all the tweets, Chris Gayle puzzles his fans with his ‘going to Pakistan’ tweet. This was a funny take by the Universe Boss which caught the fancy of the fans and got a lot of response. The Pakistan Cricket Board even retweeted the tweet from their official handle.

The tweet read, “I’m going to Pakistan tomorrow, who coming with me?” This was an indirect dig at New Zealand who cancelled their tour of Pakistan citing security reasons. The tweet by Gayle got a reply from Pakistani bowler Mohammad Amir who replied with, “see u there legend.” The PCB is miffed with New Zealand Cricket for cancelling the tour and not providing a clear reason which led to their decision.
