According to the AccuWeather report, showers are expected between 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. At 7:00 PM, there are 49% chances of rain which will increase to 64% as the match will progress.
However, as per Indian Metrological Department, there might not be a lot of rainfall on Sunday. But the weather will remain cloudy and rain is expected, even if it is a little. So, we may see rain interrupting IPL 2023 Final before or during the match.

- But if the match sees no result on May 28 then it will go to the reserve day on May 29.
- On reserve day, the match will start from where it stops on May 28.
- If the toss takes place on May 28 and after which rain washes the day and not a single ball gets bowled. Then on May 29, the coin will be flipped again.
- If rain plays spoilsport on reserve day as well then it will be decided with a Super Over. 1:20 AM (May 30) will be the deadline to play a Super Over.
- But if Super Over is also not possible then Gujarat Titans will be named winner of IPL 2023 as they topped the league stage.
