David Warner gets upset as Kane Williamson excludes him from SRH team picture

All is not well as far as the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp is concerned. The camp is certainly going through a turmoil and it’s evident to the fans and the viewers alike. David Warner, who has been the most consistent batsman for the team was excluded from the playing XI and this exclusion certainly conveyed a negative message to the fans. Now, David Warner gets upset with something that the current SRH skipper, Kane Williamson has done.

David Warner had captained the side ever since its inception till the 2021 edition where he was replaced by Kane Williamson at the helm. The team did a brilliant job in Warner’s tenure, however the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League turned out to an exception with Warner’s form taking a dip and the team giving dismal performances. In a recent turn of events, David Warner gets upset with a social media activity by Williamson.

The 14th season of IPL turned out to be disastrous for the Hyderabad franchise as they ended up on the last position with only 6 points to show for their efforts. Williamson posted a picture on his Instagram handle recently where the whole team could be seen in a huddle. David Warner gets upset with the picture as he is missing from the group. The explosive batsman even commented on the picture. Warner wrote, “No pic with me in there, thought we were so tight” with sad and laughing emojis.

Warner was sacked from the position of the SRH skipper midway which made headlines, considering his amazing performances in the past. Moreover, the southpaw was not even given a place in the SRH Playing XI. Even after all this, the Australian batsman continued to support his team and it’s quite evident by his posts on social media.

The Indian Premier League has reached the playoffs stage and the Qualifier 1 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals on Sunday evening. The final of the 14th season is going to take place on 15th October in Dubai.
