Rashid Khan is celebrating his 21st birthday today. He has a long career ahead and has already achieved a lot of success at this age. The wrist-spinner made his debut for Afghanistan at the age of 17. Also, he is a key part of the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, Rashid’s age has always been a hot topic since his debut.

When he made his debut he used to look bigger than his age. Some feel that this is not the real age of the cricketer. However, there is no confirmed report which denies that Rashid Khan was not born on 20 September 1998. Australian opener and Rashid’s teammate in SRH David Warner hilariously referred Rashid 25-year old when wishing the cricketer a happy birthday. It may be because Rashid looks a bit older than his age.

Several times Rashid Khan has faced trolling for his mature look at this age. Although, there is no doubt Rashid Khan is a great talent. Recently, the Afghanistan Cricket Board named him as the captain. He made captaincy debut against Bangladesh and became the youngest captain in test cricket history. In the only test, Afghanistan beat Bangladesh by 224 runs.
